What’s Included
Seasons (10 Pieces)
A must for all small world creative playsets! It perfectly illustrates the effects the seasons have on trees, reflective of what children might see in their local neighbourhood or park. This set of 10 trees contains a mix of deciduous and evergreen trees including a beech tree, oak, elm, apple, orange, pine, poplar, maple, redwood and weeping willow.
The evergreens have the same image on both sides to correctly represent how they look all year round, while the deciduous have what the tree would look like in the warmer months on one side, and the colder months on the other when they lose their leaves. A great way for children to learn about the seasons, and about our environment all the while having fun!
Nature’s Footsteps (15 Pieces)
Don’t fall off the log! Kids will have hours of healthy, imaginative play with Nature’s Footsteps. Made up of 15 non-slip, thick, natural rubber-backed mats with colourful printing of leaves of all seasons, rocks and logs. Children can use them as pretend stepping stones, balance on the log while having fun both indoors and outdoors. It is the perfect way for children to practice balance, coordination and develop their gross motor skills.
Stacking Leaves (10 Pieces)
Holly, beech, maple, and chestnut are just some of the beautifully illustrated leaves featured in this high-quality, wooden set. Double-sided printing featuring deciduous on one side and evergreen on the other for added learning value, stacking and balancing these irregular-sized blocks is an engaging way for children to practice fine motor and concentration skills while learning about different flora found in our environment.

I set up the mat and the wooden parts before leaving for work and then get this video from my partner. Very happy that it amuses my child and provides the option for open ended play. She loves seeing the animals we don’t see that often.

Last week, the three police officers from town came out to the station for some morning tea. The boys couldn’t stop talking about them (or making siren noises) once they’d left. Our village, vehicles, road and people were the perfect way to follow up that experience and keep the conversation going. One of my favourite things about these toys is the range of people in the set. It allows for plenty of conversations about roles in the community, diversity, culture and family structures.

Who am i? A little game we did this morning. These flashcards are from the freckled frog and its such a fun little game to match the skin to the animal. If you watched my stories you can have a glimpse of our game we did this morning. Set up a little play dough invitation for this afternoon whilst I prepared dinner. And let me say it was a hit. Happy Litte Architect range. Great for both kids working very much in the Enclosure Schema right now; but, it’s excellent problem solving for the clever kid—who, mostly loses her mind if she doesn’t understand it instantly. It is forcing her to stop and think and problem solve a little more.
