Featuring 52 cards using the 4 recognised colours of emotions, cards stand for a variety of feelings including happy, sad, frustrated, excited and everything in-between, Sorting Emotions is not only engaging, with colourful picture a child can identify with, it has 4 colour coded boxed for sorting the emotions cards.
A great tool for children to learn to recognise emotions in others, this also give the opportunity to bring up conversations about how different situations makes them feel.
Each box has a swinging hinged door for easy access, plus a chalkboard side for writing.

I set up the mat and the wooden parts before leaving for work and then get this video from my partner. Very happy that it amuses my child and provides the option for open ended play. She loves seeing the animals we don’t see that often.

Last week, the three police officers from town came out to the station for some morning tea. The boys couldn’t stop talking about them (or making siren noises) once they’d left. Our village, vehicles, road and people were the perfect way to follow up that experience and keep the conversation going. One of my favourite things about these toys is the range of people in the set. It allows for plenty of conversations about roles in the community, diversity, culture and family structures.

Who am i? A little game we did this morning. These flashcards are from the freckled frog and its such a fun little game to match the skin to the animal. If you watched my stories you can have a glimpse of our game we did this morning. Set up a little play dough invitation for this afternoon whilst I prepared dinner. And let me say it was a hit. Happy Litte Architect range. Great for both kids working very much in the Enclosure Schema right now; but, it’s excellent problem solving for the clever kid—who, mostly loses her mind if she doesn’t understand it instantly. It is forcing her to stop and think and problem solve a little more.
